These hinges work perfectly! The soft close is a great addition to old cabinets, and the mechanism works without a flaw. I am giving 4 stars due to installation instructions. Luckily, I was replacing old hinges with the holes already cut in the doors, but had I followed the instructions with these hinges, they would have been destroyed. The diameter of the hinge bowl is 1.25 inches, and the depth it needs to be cut is 38 inch, not the 1.5 listed. Additionally, make sure you purchase the correct style hinges for your doors. These moved the doors back about a half inch each, which could potentially lead to gaps between the end of the door and the frame opening.
