I love this stand. I am using it in my living room, instead of the bathroom. It is larger than I expected and that was a wonderful surprise. I love the clean smooth finish in the stand. You could easily put 5 plush sized bath towels on each shelf. It does have a little bit of a bump up so that the things that you put on the shelves will not slide off the shelf. The stand is very sturdy but if you have small children, I would suggest using the wall securing hardware that comes with the stand. It was an easy process to assemble. The only con is that the instructions are not that great. The small pieces of wood at the top need to be labeled front and back, and top and bottom.
