The product is a decorative cap intended to be used with fence posts. With a simple installation, this post is perfect for the average DIYer.

Easy set up. Not too bright but it is designed to be decorative and not supply walkway lighting so that is ok. Battery lasts pretty long into the night. No warranty information came with the box, or instructions either. I had to reach out to the manufacturer for them as Wayfair was not really helpful. Wow. For $700, not impressed. Doesn't come with instructions (at all). Also the light they sent is black, so doesn't even match the rustic antique bronze post and mailbox.... the concept was great, but end result for what you paid.. I'm not happy at all. On the directions, how is the best way to mount pole in ground, dig hole? How deep, should you sleeve it or concrete it in? How far down.. things like that.
