I needed to camouflage my large concrete septic tank lid which sits below a portion of deck. It puts out tremendous light. I bought the 71” version but it swayed waaay too much. Bring timeless charm to your home with this classic American vintage solar post light. Featuring a refined hexagonal lantern design, warm Edison-style glow, and dual power options, it blends elegance, durability, and modern convenience—perfect for creating a cozy, welcoming outdoor atmosphere in any space.

It is very nice however hardwiring is not an option for me. The small light that is powered by the solar battery does not put off very much light. It is very dim compared to other solar lights I have on my property. Since I was installing mine on a wood rail I had to find 4 screws that were long enough to fit the base. When I attached the three screws that held the top section onto the base the metal actually split a bit. But it felt secure so I have not reached out to company.. Phyllis. Louisiana. Sun Jun 14 2026

Our street light wiring was fried by a lightning bolt. To repair it would mean spending $1000s to have a contractor effect a repair. Reluctantly I researched replacing the light with a solar-powered one and, again reluctantly, bought the “No Wiring Required Imperial III Commercial Solar Post Light 3" Fitter” solar-powered light. I had visions of a poorly-illuminating light that would go dead after a few hours of darkness. Boy was I wrong! After the recommended charge, I tried all combinations of settings and the light never failed. On one occasion a day went by without any sunlight at all and I expected the light to die some time during the second night but it did not. I altered the attached photo to remove the automatic intensity enhancement so what you see is real. I live an hour north of the USA-Canada border so this winter will really put it to the test but I am no longer skeptical of its performance. By the way, this is no toy – it is very sturdily built and should last a long time.. Peter. Nepean, ON. Tue Sep 15 2026
