Very easy to put to together. It is a very sturdy bedframe for the price. The “espresso” color is fairly accurate in person vs what you see online in the pictures. The only reason we give this bedframe 4 stars is because one of the posts came damaged as seen in the second picture. Additionally, instructions were pretty straightforward. There was one moment where it isn’t straightforward, as it doesn’t mention there is not a pre drilled hole for a screw for the middle portion of the frame. The bed frame has been pretty sturdy since we put it together, and had no issues putting our premium king sized mattress on it. The package is a tall box. If it needs to be transported to upper level or lower level must have help to do so. I just opened the package and took each piece to upper level. The packaging was great. Instructions were clear. Lots of extra pieces of nuts were given. Can’t go wrong anywhere with assembly. Each piece was very well made. There’s hardly any assembly. It probably takes about 30 minutes to 40 minutes maximum. The wood pieces are solid wood. Has very smooth finish. The texture of the finished surface is soft and gives expensive feel. Once assembled one can tell its sturdy construction. We’ve been using it for a month now and no creaking or any noise. Perfect for apartment size bedroom or guest bedroom. Very happy with purchase. Pleased with my purchase. The queen size bed frame and headboard came in excellent condition. The construction appears solid. Assembly took less than 30 minutes. However, if you arent very familiar with furniture assembly instructions, you may struggle a little as none of the pieces were labeled with the numbers used in the instructions. There isn't much we don't love about this new bed, but since you've asked: The three middle bed supports/legs under the bed are all black which wouldn't bad if you couldn't see them. However, the one at the end of the bed is visible from almost any position around and away from the bed and detracts significantly from the beautiful look of the bed and its solid wood construction. And it stands to reason that a bed that cost @$3,000 should be not only functionally perfect, but optically in every way. We are also waiting to hear from Wayfair regarding reported damage to the bed, but are hopeful that we will have the damaged part(s) replaced, delivered and installed very soon.. Laurel. Very nice finish and overall quality. As others have noted, it would have been nice if several of the bolts on the headboard had been counter sunk and wooden pegs provided to cover up the bolt heads. Assembly instructions were clear and easy to follow. You really need an electric drill to drive the screws that fasten the slats. Slats had spacing tape which really helped. Major complaint — I had difficulty attaching one rail on each of the two twin beds I assembled.
