You would expect a Chinese knock off of a carved Indian sofa to "off gas". Nope. Not a single smell. This is the most expensive couch that I ever owned, and worth ever penny. It will last for decades. Hope the kids like it because I suspect we'll still have it in 30 years. The only downside is the stink eye from the boss (wife) because it is a tad firm.
