This luxurious bath rug is very thick and plush under bare feet! I like the length as it fits nicely in front of both pedestal sinks in our bathroom. The description did not list the weight but FedEx said the box it shipped in weighed 9 pounds and I believe it! It is hefty! Another reviewer mentioned that they weren't sure it would wash in their top load washer, and that is a concern to consider before buying. It is very heavy when it is dry, and very thick, so it is going to be very heavy when it is wet in the washing machine. I have a large capacity washer, but I'm nervous about it. The fact that it is white means it will show dirt easily and may need frequent laundering. Something to consider when faced with the reality of a dirty bath rug!
