The black bedspread looks really nice and the quality is good overall. It’s soft and has a nice appearance, although I wish it was a little thicker. It was finally time to switch out my heavy quilt for my new lighter bedspread. I searched high and low for a split corner bedspread with longer sides and came across this one. It needed to be open to allow for the posters and legs an I wasn’t certain if the corners unbuttoned but, fortunately, they did. It’s perfect and a nice weight with a matching pillow and shams with buttons. I bought two cream throw pillows on this site and matching buttoned linen euro shams elsewhere and I think it looks great. I did wash everything before using and it all washed up great. Exactly as shown in the website photo and exactly as I had hoped! My bed is low and I have a queen size bed - so I get the king size quilts so they are to the floor and I don’t have to look at the area between the quilt’s end and the floor (plus my platform bed will not keep a nice bed ruffle in place). This fits well from side to side and does not drag on the carpet! I love the white - it provides a clean and crisp feel for my room. The quilted material is very soft and well sewn.
