So we had a icomfort mattress (4.5) years old before selecting this luxurious king mattress. It comes in one box easy to handle. We literally FELL into Heaven with this mattress. I ordered my bed on a Sunday night and it was supposed to arrive Friday. It came on Wednesday morning. Setting up was super simple. I had everything cleared out of the space before opening the box. It was literally 6 legs and 2 brackets to put on, it took less than 10 minutes. The mattress was fully out within a hour so we were able to sleep on the bed that night. We both have severe sciatica back pain and buying this bed was our last option to help our backs without any help from a physician. We’ve slept on the bed for a week now and it’s the best bed I’ve ever slept in. Every night the massage option puts us to sleep and neither me or my husband wake up in the night now. We haven’t slept a full 8 hours in years prior to buying this bed. Now we’re waking up with a full 8 hours of rest and haven’t had any problems with our backs since we slept in our old bed. This bed has already changed our quality of life and my husband and I can’t be more thankful to have found it. We had shopped around before buying anything and Wayfair offered more options and less money for the bed by over half!! Wayfair made it possible for us to get everything we needed in a bed plus extras for a affordable price that our fixed income could afford. It truly is the deal of a lifetime and I will be telling everyone I know to go buy this bed. If you’re reading this review I promise you you will not be disappointed. It even has a light under the bed so you can see underneath. It also has USB ports on each side of the bed for you to plug your phone into . It’s got everything you want and need in a bed. What a great memory foam mattress! It was easy to unwrap and extend open. I waited 24hrs to allow full air expansion. So far, so great! The smell is not overt nor unbearable, and I am told that the mattress immediately inflated to its size. The first night it was okay for comfort, and excellent with cooling(I sleep hot normally) and the second night was perfect comfort. It is mediumfirm and normally I prefer firm but as this is my first memory foam, its perfect for me. I woke up refreshed and not in pain. I have severe back issues, surgery on Left L45S1 laminectomy when I was 29. Its a very nice looking mattress, as well. I was concerned about no longer having a pillowtop mattress, but I can say that I do not miss it. I will update in 98 days if I still love it or if I exchanged it, which is a wonderful Wayfair feature to have when you buy a mattress from them. This is what tipped me in their favor. Mattress came quickly and I was very happy with that. Still very happy with the mattress, and it has been 2 years. I got an adjustable base a year ago and it works good with that. If you are a side/stomach sleeper this will feel amazing! This is a medium to soft mattress which is the perfect firmness if you have hip or back pain. Nice amount of curve hugging, without feeling like you are sinking. Box arrived without damage in 3 days and it was just as I expected. I got the king size, so it was a 2 person job. We took it out of the box in the driveway, carried it up the steps, placed it on the existing box spring, and then followed the instructions. There are 2 plastic wraps. The mattress was folded in half, so we unfolded it, and cut off the second plastic wrap. It went from completely flat and too small to over 12" tall and perfect from corner to corner in less than one minute. This hybrid is replacing a less than a year old cool gel style 12" foam only mattress. We noticed an immediate difference from the gel to this hybrid. It feels much softer, more like a pillow top, but still with the edge firmness to be able to put socks and shoes on from the sides/end. There is a smell when unwrapping (not unpleasant), but it went away very quickly and after an hour it is not noticeable. I think this is very normal for the foam mattress styles. After sleeping uncomfortably on a gel mattress (another brand) we are excited to wake up without body aches! This is better than I had hoped, I will update this if it is anything less than 5 stars..
