The couch is lovely and so comfortable. It arrived in two large boxes packaged well, and I was able to assemble it by myself in about 2 hours. The instructions were very simple and easy to follow, which made the process straightforward. (Ps. The couch legs have screw covers on them. I learned the hard way lol) The only reason I’m not giving this five stars is that the back and armrest cushions don’t actually attach to the couch and feel more like pillows, which can be a little annoying. The sofa arrives compressed, and as soon as you release it from the packaging, it slowly expands and “comes to life.” If you have children, they will absolutely get a kick out of watching it grow into its full shape. That said, this is definitely a piece meant for informal spaces. It sits quite low to the ground, and while it’s soft and comfortable, it doesn’t have the structured presence you’d want in a formal living room. Instead, it shines in relaxed environments — a family room, a basement hangout, or especially a kid’s playroom where comfort and durability matter more than formality. I’ll actually be using mine in my classroom, where I try to incorporate flexible seating options for my students. I was skeptical....Delivery wasn't up to standards...BUT, the sofa is awesome! Very firm, but springy, requiring a little "just getting used to". Fabric is better than expected, the color is a little lighter than pictured. Another adjustment...the sofa comes to the floor, no legs, and I can't count how many times my toes have stopped me dead (but softly). LOL! Bottom line, I'm very happy with it! This would have gotten a 5star if the right upholstered set came to us in full. Half was beige 1 and the other half was in in beige 4. Had to call and ask for slip covers to match the intended ones ordered....but when they came, it still didn't match with the originals so I had to call and get a whole new set of covers sent so they all will match. Whatever you do, tell them to note that the set all matches to avoid this. if it does happen to you, ask for entire slip cover for all 8 seater to be replaced to ensure they all match.. Ha. Florida.
