We're using this shelving unit to add more storage in our open kitchen. It's very convenient in that it has it's own power outlet and outlets for charging cables. As this shelf will be placed in front of a kitchen outlet, this works out well because we don't need to reach through or behind the shelving unit to plug in our appliances and chargeable items. 8/10, an absolute WIN! One piece of the table has a dent in it due to shipping and handling. I put a vase on top of it to hide it. Wayfair gave a me a small % of a refund due to the dent. I paid for the professional assembly Wayfair offers, and it took him 3.5 hours to assemble. TONS of pieces, and the instruction manual is crucial! It has plenty of space, is aesthetically pleasing, and gives my kitchen the luxury upgrade I desire. It has two drawers that don’t have the lock when you extend it, so I have to be careful when opening it. I even added books where some would put spices, so I am loving the dual purpose. This island has worked out perfectly since I bought it in 2022. It still looks great and is in good condition.
