Everytime it rains the canopy collects water and collapses into the box. It's so flimsy!! We'll be reinforcing it and making a new roof this weekend. For the price, this should be in 100% working order. It's still a nice design and the seats and cover are a great feature. I've added an updated photo of how the roof was reinforced by my husband. I need to clarify my rating. Wayfair is amazing and customer service is exceptional. Now my review. We saw this beauty in a high end furniture several miles away from our home. We decided that we wanted it and saw that it was available on Wayfair. It’s mahogany and the pictures don’t do it justice, it is stunning. It came in 2 pieces. The top and bottom cross pieces that screw together weren’t even close to fitting together. There are metal inserts in the planks. My husband had to take it apart and fix it. Great sandbox! My kids ❤️❤️ it! It took less than an hour to put together-very simple and clear instructions. We only filled with 500lbs of sand to start but it seems to be enough. It was easy to find sand at our local hardware store for just a few s a bag. We specifically bought this sandbox because it also came with a cover. Where we live it tends to have gusty winds, lots of humidity and occasional rain. Cover works great!
