The chair requires some assembly, which only takes about 15 minutes to get everything out of the box and ready to sit on. It does sit a bit low to the floor but it is very comfortable and being oversized gives you plenty of room. Received two of these today. Super fast shipping and very fast and easy assembly. I'm 5'7. When the recliner is up my ankles are supported by the last extension and heels go over the edge. My head is about an inch higher then the height of the seat. Chair is stiff but will break in. The fabric is will seems yo feel on the warm side. Lastly I am concerned that with some use the print looks like it may wear off. I can't be certain about that. Hope this helps anyone who may be comptemplating purchasing these chairs. I love this chair! It is sturdy and comfortable. Some say the cushion is too firm, but I think it is perfect.
