Our old mailbox ended up with a split post and the front flap was askew and hard to close. It was just a metal mailbox on a wood post but since it broke we were in need of something new. My thought was this plastic one that slides over a wood post would last longer. We also get a lot of packages so it’s bigger to accommodate them. It arrived well packaged and seems easy enough to assemble with mostly snap together pieces. We will fully install once we get a post. Seems sturdy and once slid onto a post should be perfect!. The spacious interior compartment of the secure package delivery box accepts a variety of commonly sized packages. Ensure your packages are always safe by securing the parcel box. Optionally, for further security, the base accommodates ground anchors (commonly referred to as trampoline stakes/anchors or u-stakes) with 2/3in inside radius, the base can be weighed down by 100lbs of dry sand, or the package box can also accept a tether if the box is located near a secure tiedown point (not included).
