This is just the right height for me to get into my VERY tall bed easily, and it seems really sturdy. The thing I would change is that the top is VERY smooth, and I could easily see myself swinging out of bed and slipping off. I put two strips of gripper tape for stairs on it, and it will be fine - I happened to have some in the house. I wouldn’t recommend using it without doing that first.. Carol.
