I had a wooden toy box which I have had around for years still in great shape but need little bit more room and something for my sons books and puzzles. This toy box, so so easy to put together! No dents, no bent pieces and just perfect for what I needed it for. The deep toy box was a saver. It was only three inches longer than my other toy box, 6 inches deeper which is what I needed. My son who is 13 months gets happy about cleaning up because he can close the lid, and so happy it is light and not heavy so he can’t hurt himself being a big boy cleaning up. What a difference this shed made. It is quite sturdy, well made and looks great. When putting it together, I missed a step (a bar that is supposed to be attached to the underside of the lid at the front edge), but it seems to work fine without it. Since that would have added weight that would make opening the lid a little harder for me, I chose to leave it off. As far as difficulty in assembling ... on a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being the most difficult, I would rate it at about a 4. The design of the shed is what sold us! Upon delivery of the shed, we began losing our excitement. The instruction manual required someone with architectural rendering experience to understand some of the instructions. Not easy for a semi-pro to figure it out. The majority of the wood was not marked, so each piece of wood had to be measured and marked to insure the shed would be square. Some of the 2 x4's had massive curves or were split, so adjustments had to be made to insure solid construction. Wood quality seemed like C grade.
