- This required very little effort from two of us that put it together. About 3hrs total. - The tool we used the most was the Allen wrench and the 1/2" socket. - Some of the directions were confusing but we figured it out. -There are two metal brackets that we had to bend in order to get them to fit correctly. -Packaging was perfect and they had double checked all of the parts before shipping it!. My kiddos love it. Nothing will change the lovely imagination kids have because they spend so much fun playing with the carton boxes :). In a more serious tone they actually enjoyed it . The structure is very sturdy and easy to assemble. The only think I dont like is the side climbing area since no one use it and I think is too straight but only time will tell. . Anonymous. Step2 made another great product! This is a great combo toddler playhouse with a fun tall slide. If you don’t want to pay for two different sets I would get this one especially for growth. My 3yr old toddler should be able to play with this set way into elementary age. My toddler loves it so far but of course we had some shipping issues so we weren’t able to enjoy the playhouse prior to snow. Wish we could of enjoyed it during warmer weather. One thing I don’t like is the climbing ladder it seems a little steep but as long as you are behind them climbing the ladder, the toddler should be fine.
