Absolutely LOVE this Caannasweis Cookware set. They are definitely non-stick surfaces. The cleanup on these pans are amazing. The foods really do slip right off of the surface of the pans. Plus, they are pleasant to look at. The saute pans are almost 3 in deep. Although the handles on the pots do get quite warm, that is noted in the instructions. Over the years I haven’t made good cookware decisions but I am truly impressed with this cookware! So to put the skillet to the test I decided to cook maple sausage. It did not stick to the pan! The picture you see the maple sugar’s that would usually keep every and anything from moving around came right off of this pan with running hot water, no wiping it out, no sponge, just water! For breakfast I cooked the family cheesy eggs for breakfast and yes it came out clean, every bit of egg and cheese....I also used a not so fav in my utensil drawer a metal spatula!!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These have been hyped up for quite a while for their easy clean and no stick capabilities. The first few times nothing stuck but I have definitely noticed eggs sticking to the pan a little after its been used and washed a few times. After researching online I’ve come to the conclusion that I should hand wash them instead of using the dishwasher even though they are dishwasher safe to prolong the life of the non stick coating and to extend the usage I get from these pots and pans. Also it is better to cook or medium to low flame instead of using super high flame. The handles on these do not get hot though so that’s pretty nice. These are PFOA free. With the coatings, I’d inspect it periodically to make it hasn’t peeled or worn off because I don’t want to eating Aluminum afterwards. So long as the coating remains in good condition these should be good to use. These are also quite lightweight and easy to lift. Also safe to use in the oven since they can withstand up to 500 degrees. When cooking food I notice even distribution of heat and don’t have to keep adjusting the pot or oan on the flame. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this set of cookware a week before Christmas... really good timing! I would first like to say that it stacks very nicely. If you have limited space that is so important! I have cooked rice, beans, eggs, soup, chili and steamed tamales in these so far and they are great! The sizes are good... I especially like the deep skillet (think it will be great for stir fried items and the small skillet is perfect for eggs and such). They have a good nonstick surface... they heat evenly, and are a breeze to clean. I have however found one thing that I’m a bit unsure about. There seems to be a small gap where the edge of the lid meets the glass... I have shown this in the photos. I used the pressure spray hose in my sink and it seems to clean it ok. Just wish it was sealed and the water didn’t pool in the edge of the lid. Over all I really do like this cookware set and have enjoyed cooking in them.
