Great quality stoneware dinner set. Heftier weighted plate and bowl. If you are looking for a thinner, porcelainchina-type plate, this is not for you. Really pretty, soft blue tones with a blue-gray trim that ends in brown. The salad plate is more like a bread plate a bit smaller than I would have liked. Fork and knife for scale. Hmm so I love the color, I love the stone. But the only downside for me is for the price, the plates are super thin. Idk how long they will hold up. The bumps for me on the surface of the plate is a little funky as well. I love these. For some reason I expected all the big plates to be one color and all the small bowls to be a different color and so on, but all four item types have one of every color shown (one creamy mocha/dried earth, one terracotta, one faded denim, one almond milk). The wide mouth bowl wasn't as wide as I'd expected, which was a relief; i wanted to be able to find everyday uses for both bowls, and I have. The colors that appeared on my computer monitor on the site were true to the reality before me, but since everyone's monitor, settings, and eyes are a little different there's always room for someone else to not have as lovely as experience. I've attached pictures with many props to try to lend a three dimensional idea of the sizes and shapes. The obvious prop is silverware, but sadly I don't own any and so could not include them as helpful references. I've given these a few hard smacks on accident since getting them a couple weeks ago and there's been no chipping or otherwise noticeable damage. The downside is that my plates especially arrived with several scratches. It's clear everything was packaged up very carefully, and I appreciated that everything except some plastic feet on the inside of the box was recyclable, but the scrapes are sad.. Sam Danger.
