Great size… the flatware is not to big and is beautiful.. Anonymous. Sat Oct 03 2026

Add contemporary appeal to your table with this set that is crafted for a glossy, high-end look.

Just lovely. I bought this single setting just to try it out and then bought a bigger set (8). The knife sits comfortably in the hand, has a nice serrated edge. No spotting in the dishwasher, no issues with them falling through the silverware basket as I have a drawer in the dishwasher where they lie flat (I read in some reviews that some folks were having this problem: just load them handle firstand then it is not an issue).. Sometimes the knife needs to be carefully set on the table as it balances in the narrow edge of the handle and depending on the placemats used it will fall over and rest sideways. I don't use placemats much and the ones I do use have an even surface so not a problem for me, but something to be aware of. Do as I did: try out one place setting first then go from there.. The Mikasa French Countryside flatware set is a quaint design, versatile enough to coordinate with multiple decorating styles. It has a highly polished finish which I plan to hand wash and dry most of the time, although Im sure it would hold up well in the dishwasher. The weight and balance is good, but I find it slightly more cumbersome to use than another set I have. In my pictures I show another older European sized set that is slightly larger, and a vintage set that I consider human sized, along with the Mikasa set in the center. I would prefer to buy American made these are made in Vietnam. Overall, I am happy with my purchase, and Wayfair has competitive prices and fast shipping.. Ritzby. USA. Mon Sep 14 2026
