It’s got a speckled gold all over that wasn’t so clear in the photo and it sticks out more that the existing ring I had so this is not good for children who might tug on it, but I’m careful so it will be fine for me as I am installing it in the master bathroom next to counter with dual sinks so I got two of them. They are a little wonky for the symmetry on each side of the counter, in the room. It’s easier to fan the hand towel and place it on the arm so that’s a plus, instead of feeding it through the ring due to it being open on right side, don’t see that it’s very easy to reverse opening for left handers.
