Sturdy fiberglass frames and repellent fiberglass team up to create super-durable umbrellas that can withstand small gales and big elephant sneezes. The 9-foot canopy lifts into the air with an easy mechanism. The separately controlled infinity tilt can shield you from the sun at any point in its fiery orbit. Each umbrella is designed to cover 48-inch round tables. However, the right base (not included) can support freestanding configurations as well.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The navy blue California Umbrella is the perfect companion for your outdoor picnic table or outdoor seating area. The product arrived in a long, cardboard box with clear instructions on handling and opening printed on the outside of the box (which side to open, do not drop on the end, save the box for future storage). Shipped in two pieces and wrapped in protective plastic, the umbrella and the accompanying center post were easily unboxed and assembled. Lightweight, it was simple to install the umbrella through the center mounting hole of my existing picnic table, and into the existing umbrella stand I already own. My old umbrella had already seen several seasons outdoors, and it was time to get a replacement. Once in place, the new California Umbrella opened easily with the turn of the opening crank. With the canopy spread as far as the crank could open the umbrella, a nice shade was cast over my picnic table area, offering ample UV protection from the winter sun’s rays. Made out of a combination of lightweight metal and fabric, the umbrella offers a vented top to help dissipate wind gusts, thereby helping to ensure secure placement in the location of your choosing. Overall fit, finish, and quality of this umbrella seems top notch, aligned to my expectations. Operating the crank to open and close the umbrella is simple and straightforward, making this umbrella an excellent choice for users of all ages and physical abilities. Overall, I am very pleased with this product and am looking forward to the upcoming spring season where I plan to enjoy my shaded seating as often as time permits.. 1cookielady.
