I am very pleased with this deck box. I have another one from Suncast which is still in great shape, but I needed a bigger one and wanted one with a wicker look to go with new resin wicker furniture. This is the biggest one I could find. It holds 7 of the box cushions pictured, plus the two back cushions on top. Assembly was easy using a screwdriver and a rubber mallet. I only needed a second set of hands when I was installing the lid. I like that the lid will stay open by itself and this deck box does indeed keep the cushions dry. This storage box is great! I bought this for our deck to house cushions for seating in our gazebo. It holds two loveseat and two chair seat bottom cushions, six 16-inch square pillows and two 12x19-inch rectangle cushions, and a 32" tower fan. It is barely half full. When we take the fabric off the gazebo for winter, I believe all the curtains and top will also fit in it. Perfect!! I had NO PROBLEM assembling it as I followed the directions step by step -- do so when putting it together or you could possibly break it by "forcing" it together. Also, I made one mistake this morning so here is another bit of advice. It rained overnight and this morning, but the cushions were inside the box and totally dry - until I raised the lid without drying off the seat. Rain which had pooled on the seat area drained into the box when I raised the lid, through the hole closure on the back top compartment. Received my deck box yesterday it took me along time to decide because I don’t know how much 105 gallon or 83 gallon holds I bought the Gaskin 4 piece set that comes with 8 cushions so I took a chance and bought the 73 gallon box and it fits my 8 cushions perfect took me 10 minutes to put together very easy and very pleased thank you.
