Well, it’s my first experience with a bidet. I love the heated seat. All the other bells & whistles, I am acquiring a respect for. I still like using some toilet paper. This Toto C2 Washlet is actually a replacement for one that I purchased 20 years ago, following a business trip to Japan. My travel companions and I were so impressed during our 4-star hotel stays that we purchased several after returning home. Technology has certainly improved over the years. This model resolves all of the issues that bothered me about the older model and includes features that I didn't even know I needed! The misting of the toilet bowl works great to reduce the need for cleaning. The various spray modes and filtered ventilation are quite effective. Installation was easy on a Toto Drake toilet and Wayfair was one of the few sources that stocked the elongated Sedona Beige model that I required. My only surprise was the seating position changed slightly from the older unit, due to so much more functions tucked in the hinge area of the unit. Although this on the lower end of the Toto Washlet line, it definitely gets the job done. Some fancier models feature a dryer, which I don't think is really necessary if you use a bit of toilet paper that you'd probably use anyway.
