However, when used in the C-shape configuration (slid under a couch or bed), stability depends on how it’s positioned. Because of the lightweight acrylic design, it can tip if there isn’t enough weight anchoring it or if it’s bumped. For that reason, I’d recommend using it more for light functional use rather than as a primary nightstand or in high-traffic areas. Overall, it’s a great piece for aesthetic and light-use purposes. Love the “real marble” trey tables I purchased from Wayfair!! They are a good weight, stylish and sturdy. They serve their purpose daily by holding our cellphones, remote controls, computer, food etc. Marble color works well with our new sectional sofa (whiteish background with gray veining).
