I paid for assembly and the contractor damaged the unit. All your instructions say 2 person assembly necessary, but only one showed up. He was here over 5 hours. I ended up having to help him with the assembly anyways even though I paid 129 to have it done. He couldn’t get the door to work so I did that myself as well. I think I should get my 129 back.. Joe. It’s nice! More for a kids room short like others mentioned. The photo with the side table is misleading as I thought both pieces were together. I had to order a side table hoping the color matches. A power drill isn't required but there are so many screws that it saves your hand from blisters if you use a power drill as your screwdriver. All of the holes are predrilled though. 4. Since the boxes were incredibly heavy and our bedroom is on the smaller side, we opted to take all materials out of the box in the living room to organize first. Then we put a few of the smaller pieces together before carrying them upstairs for assembly in the bedroom. 5. 90% of the assembly is a one person job but it was helpful to have another person present to assist with hanging the doors. 6. I finally got around to assembling this wardrobe. It was easy and quick to assemble. All the screws labeled, separated, along with a very clear instruction booklet. Think this is a functional piece, looks good and is versatile. For extra storage it works well. The two shelves are adjustable and it does include the option of bolting the wardrobe to a wall. Nothing fancy but clean lines, simple. It is made of metal which is less apparent until you actually open it. It does sound like a metal cabinet.
