This bright, bold lamp is the same lamp sold at major department stores for $259! At the time I shopped, Wayfair by far had the best price around. This is a heavy, quality lamp that makes a statement and is just the pop of color I wanted for my family room. No doubt about it, this is a large lamp, and would be lovely on an entryway table. Mine are on 20" square end tables and it does take up quite a bit of room. The orange color is bright and bold and the shade is bright white. The bottom of the ceramic base is clear acrylic, not the chrome I expected, but suits the lamp well. The cord is fabric covered and reminiscent of the 1950's and 60's.
