I searched high and low for the perfect kitchen set, and am totally thrilled with this one! I was torn between the PBK mini classic one and this one, but decided this one is actually better. This one is taller than most kitchen sets—including the PBK one—so an older child can still play with it—not just toddlers. This one has that little extra bit of counter space, which is perfect for using a mixer, coffee pot, or toaster—the PBK one does not. This one has a microwave, phone, real chalk board, and storage for dishes (the PBK one only has a bar for hanging utensils). This one has more shelves inside the cabinets (I was stunned that the PBK one had no shelves inside at that price point). Both have real working thermometers and classic handles (I think I read somewhere that the same company manufactures both kitchen sets). BUT the absolute BEST feature is the real, working ice dispenser! This kitchen set comes with two plastic ice cubes and a cup that fits perfectly. This kitchen set also has knobs that click (the PBK one surprisingly doesn’t) and a clock with arms that spin. I also love that the sink on this one is removable, stainless steel, and can be filled with water so my child can wash things in it. The size of the kitchen set is perfect—not too big and not too small. It took me and a teenage daughter about an hour to put it together with a power screwdriver. I’m very impressed with the quality. It feels like solid wood and is quite heavy (although I’m fairly confident certain parts—like the microwave door—are probably mdf). This kitchen set has been an absolute hit with our daughter and all kids who come to our house. It gets a lot of play time, and more than one child can play with it at once. A lot of moms look at it admiringly and ask me about about the brand and where I got it. This was a fantastic purchase!!. Matthew & Emily. Portland, OR. 2019-03-19 12:33:25
