I ordered 2 sets of the 20-piece set. Each set is a service for 4 and during the holidays I need at least a service for 8. The set is just fabulous for my rustic setting. I have both Bear & Moose dinnerware and this silverware compliments it perfectly. The stem part reminds me of a wood twig. It is dark brown in color with a slight hint of black. It is not perfectly applied and has a distressed look to it. The butter knife has more of a wiggle or twist to the handle because of the length, that adds more character to the entire set. The set is heavy and on the larger size. I have a picture with my everyday silverware and you can see that each piece is slightly larger. I don’t us the tablespoon in my regular set and certainly won’t in this set, my mouth is not that big!!! To me they are weighted just right and fit pretty good in my hand. My husband was excited when he saw the size of the tablespoon…he does have a large mouth! I usually wash my silverware by hand so I do not foresee a rusting problem that others have had. These are a great but different flatware 5 piece set, the quality is amazing, and just the feel of the stemware is so different. The knife stem is flat on one side that allows the knife to stand up when place setting. I showed in pictures how it looks, and also how they put the logo stamp on the different pieces, these also shine like I have never seen silverware do, these are definitely worth the money,. Holly. I bought 2 sets of this flatware in the black color. It is absolutely gorgeous and unique!! High quality and the black absolutely feels like it is baked into the stainless—it’s NOT coming off imho. It’s kind of like wrought iron to me but it’s MUCH prettier! I love the 3 prong forks—so nice looking! These are heavy in your hand, but not too heavy. Thy just feel great! There is no break in the looping on the ends of the utensils, but it’s just one continuous gorgeous piece of metal. Just love the black finish which subtly blends into the silver stainless on the “eating” part that you use. These are BIG spoons. I’ve taken a pic of my old set to try and show how much bigger these are, but I actually love that the spoons are big! They are not at all a problem to eat with! I have a big mouth though (lol). Anyway, I hope this helps someone else with their decision. Also, the sets came very nicely packaged, with a 5 piece service setting being displayed on top and then each of the remaining utensils being underneath, individually contained in its own plastic sleeve! I’ll be washing these by hand, even though it says you can wash in the dishwasher. Thanks to Wayfair for having such great quality products that are very securely packaged and shipped quickly!! Oh and by the way...the drawer organizer holding my new flatware is the “rev-a-shelf” and I love love love those too! UPDATE: pics didn’t attach previously, so I’m trying to attach them again..
