I really like this clock. Looks great and easy to assemble. The chime sounds are acceptable and the pendulum movement is nice. It is definitely worth the cost. I would give this 5-stars except for one significant issue; the clock face is hard to read. When the light conditions are bright the face has so much glare that it is hard to see the hands. When it is darker there is very little contrast on the face, so again time is hard to read from anywhere except directly in front and close to the clock. You can actually see this from the images online. Look closely at the clock face in the images. I believe the manufacture is aware of this issue and took the best image they could get. But even the best image is not very good. Finally, this issue is not unique to this particular model. There are many similar clock models that use the same clock face.
