I received these sheets as a gift and just wash them for the first time on a gentle cycle cold water. My washing machine does not have the middle piece so it's open and prevents fabrics from getting damaged. After these were washed I opened the washer to twisted sheets and pillow cases with a ton of white string. Since these have a frayed edge I am hoping this just happens with the first wash. I have place to call to customer service to get more insight. I'm a big fan of annaselkie and this is the first experience I'm having with one of my bedding sets.
