Quilling is an art form that involves the use of strips of paper that are rolled, shaped, and glued together to create decorative designs. It was believed that this art form was first practiced in ancient Egypt by nuns. Our craftsmen drew inspiration from it and created this unique art piece. The centerpiece was sealed inside a gold-finished wooden shadow box frame and a high-quality clear glass panel. Black velvet felt was applied on the entire back side for wall protection. It is exquisitely handmade, ready to elevate any room to a new level of sophistication.

This is a very beautiful and well made piece. The quality is really nice and it has great detail. The paper is against a neutral linen background which gives warmth to it. The gold frame has a bit of grain to it so keeps with the textures of the piece. It is REALLY heavy so you have to use strong wire to hang on the two hooks on the back.. Giovanna.
