We saw this stunning Fluted Arched Bookcase and we had to have it. The main reason I chose this particular one is because it also has the enclosed storage cabinet at the bottom. I couldn’t believe how easy it was to assemble. The pieces and hardware were marked and labeled so you could follow along in the assembly instructions. It is a nice very stable. I haven’t styled the bookcase yet, but am pleased with the look. Delivery had me nervous the end of the box was open and I just knew there would be broken or missing pieces. However, there was no damage to the piece. I put this together myself in about two hours. The directions were clear and easy to follow. The most difficult step is bending the arch piece and keeping it in place while installing the cover piece. I’m sure that part would have been easier with someone helping. Disappointing! These are not solid wood but MDF and extremely poor quality. The images are not accurate for the arched top. You have to slide a thin back board, which actually feels like a pressed cardboard, in the tracks of the arch frame (see images).
