Absolutely LOVE this Caannasweis Cookware set. They are definitely non-stick surfaces. The cleanup on these pans are amazing. The foods really do slip right off of the surface of the pans. Plus, they are pleasant to look at. The saute pans are almost 3 in deep. Although the handles on the pots do get quite warm, that is noted in the instructions. I was excited when we received the set. I have to admit it took some getting used to, cooking with these is a bit different than cooking with the nonstick pans we normally have. I would recommend seasoning the pans before using, it helps to avoid sticking. Loveeeee this set! They are beautiful! If you have trouble with it “losing” its shine (inside) or tarnished its not (look at my photos). You have to treat this set like you treat a cast iron skillet “season” the pans after use. After a good hand wash dry the pans with a soft cloth, then dab a few drops olive oil (or oil if your choice) wipe the inside of each pan (you are coating the oil in the pan) and wah lah they are perfect again! I bought this set because of how many pots come with it. I love that I get 3 sauce pots! They stack great, are lightweight, and look really nice. The lids are shallow so they can stack upright in a drawer and don't take up very much space. The bottom is smooth and coated which is a plus because the dishwasher doesn't dull the bottom of the pan, however I have noticed that it is doing it to the top rim of the pans. They are starting to get that dull rainbow look from the dishwasher. So these pans can go it the dishwasher but they will last longer if they are hand washed. The lids are vented on 2 sides. I wish they only vented on one side or the top because when you have 4 things going on the stove at once that's 8 spots where steam comes out! Not satisfied at all. I’ve used the small pan twice and it’s stained. Even after soaking and scrubbing with a blue dish sponge this will not come off. They are beautiful brand new.
