Very heavy but manageable. We also bought the armoire and dresser to complete our bedroom, and although the bed is crafted very well and is stunningly beautiful, the piece did arrive slightly damaged. There was a 1/2 inch by 1 inch chunk of would that had broken off one end of a side rail. Nice quality bed with some design flaws. 1) almost impossible to screw in the center beams due to a piece of wood on side rail. 2) my knees unintentionally hit the corner of footboard hard a couple times already and you can please the pain! Wayfair is completely dishonest. I purchased assembly service and had email confirmation of that. Few days before delivery date it quietly changed to deliver to room of choice. I called and was told that they can’t do assembly due to COVID. Their website still offer assembly after 6 mo of outbreak. I had to call multiple and to get the refund for assembly fee.
