This table and chairs have held up very well. We have left it outside in the Chicago brutal weather for a few years now, and it's done well. We did repaint the top as it faded a bit, but as I mentioned, we did leave it out in some bad weather, so I didn't expect the finish to stay perfect. It looks great! Sturdy and sleek. The directions were sketches and clear to understand. All pieces were well marked! It took us several hours to finish putting it together mostly because we don't often construct things. The first pieces were difficult because we had to be on our knees to screw it together, after that all was well. Small tools included. When you get to the part where you attach an inner ring to the outer legs, we used the large box it came in to hold it in place by placing it under the metal pieces- which balanced it and held it in place while you screw in place..
