[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having added a large patio to my backyards, I was in the market to add a permanent gazebo over a small area of it in order to enjoy the patio in the winter months. My research steered me in the direction of gazebos made by Sojag. Boy, was this research correct. The Sojag Massina 10ft x 10ft gazebo is a godsend for use during the cold winter months. We added a patio heater under it and voila, we have a 100 sq ft heated seating area on our patio. The Messina is absolutely solid. The four posts and roof crossbeams are well designed and solid. The weight off the metal roof added to the rest of the gazebo makes sure that wind will not move or tip it. The metal roof also makes me feel safer when using a patio heater under it as I know there isn't any flammable parts. The predrilled holes on the bottom of the posts makes it easy to anchor down which I will do this spring into the concrete patio. We assembled it on one of the coldest days of the year which added to the time, but the two of us had it assembled in around five hours. I am waiting for the weather to warm up to fully tighten all the pieces together as the cold made fitting pieces together challenging, but not impossible. I am extremely happy so far with it. The powder coating is an added bonus to keep it from rusting. Overall it is just a nice looking gazebo that adds elegance to my backyard patio. I highly recommend the Sojag Messina gazebo. We live in North Carolina, so the protection from the elements and the mosquito net for the bugs comes in very handy in the spring/summer/fall. We fit a lounging patio set underneath it (love seat, two arm chairs, coffee table), so we can relax in the shade while watching the kids play in the backyard or have friends over for drinks in the evening without worrying about bugs or rain . The Sojag gazebo is really high quality and looks amazing in our backyard. I expect it will last many years. The color and design is beautiful and would blend in very well with a variety of homes and colors. The only downside to the gazebo is the assembly. It was not a problem for me and my husband, but we are younger and both lift weights for exercise. It arrived in two boxes, one of which is long, large, and heavy. We were able to put it together in a few hours. We did it with just the two of us, but another person would have made it easier. I was getting antsy because this was a sent in the winter, and I am in the Pacific Northwest where it never stops raining or freezing in the winter. I wasn’t sure when I’d be able to get our gazebo set up. It is so awesome now that we have it up! We can’t use it yet due to the weather, but I am already purchasing decorations for it like curtains, nice patio furniture that matches the overall aesthetic of this glorious new structure in our side yard, rugs, stylish torches with citronella, eclectic lighting, etc. The lines of this gazebo are sleek and modern, and it is so fun buying all of the gorgeous new modern-looking outdoor items for this so we can enjoy it the very first time the weather cooperates. The roof is galvanized steel, so I am confident that I am able to place nice items in this gazebo. It will surely remain protected from the rain and from fading in the sun. The entire gazebo was relatively easy to assemble. It states that three to four people are recommended to assemble it. However, my husband, myself, and my 15-year-old easily assembled it in less than half a day. I am amazed at how sturdy and durable every inch of this gazebo’s construction is, and the powder-coated steel frame will likely last throughout several of the harsh environmental episodes that we experience up here in the mountains where we live.
