Our 6 month old Springer Spaniel loves this bed, big enough for her to move, the sides are perfect height for her to rest her head. I bought three of these large size mats. I have two Boxers and a very big Lab mix. The mats fit really well in the huge crates I'm using. The large size mat is perfect for the large size cot as well. It appears they will wash well and fit easily in my washer. This will be less work for me and be cleaner for them. I had hoped that this mat would be a solution to the obsession with removing the stuffing from everything(!) one of these brats is always taking out of her stuff. This bad girl doesn't know the value of a dollar or thirty. Maybe she just hates doggie beds and pillows. She could be trying to fluff it more. I'm not sure why, but she has already torn her mat and started pulling the stuffing out. I'm not surprised. This is her M.O. There isn't a doggie bed, pillow or blanket that she hasn't opened and pulled the stuffing out of. Fortunately for both of us she limits her damages to dog bedding and not people bedding.
