We love this. It is compact and fits nicely on the counter. We add rice and water to the cooker first thing in the morning, as we brew our coffee. It takes less than 5 minutes to add the rice and water. We turn it on and have perfect rice an hour later. We leave it in warming mode, so that the rice stays warm and fresh all day. We scoop out the rice and add it to our plates at lunch and dinner time. I wash the ceramic insert each night, so that we can start again the next day. Simple. Love it so far! But we shall see if this would last like my zojirushi rice cooker that last me 25 years. But my sister told me that she been using them for a long time. And shes a lot older than me. Anyway I attach my pictures of my old one and new one. And so far they both looks good the only problem I had on my old rice cooker is the lid sometimes its kinda hard to close but knowing my family we always eat rice everyday so opened and closed will get broken and 25 years is a long time.
