Great toilet - I think that 1.6gpf is the right balance between having enough power to get everything down and water conservation. A slight issue was that the flapper needed a tiny bit of adjustment in the beginning - the arm connecting the flusher handle to the flapper chain needed to be bent about 1/8" downward as the flapper wasn't sealing properly, but since then I haven't had any issues.. Great toilet. It flushes properly, much better than our previous, cheaper toilet. The tornado action covers the entire bowl. Its much more quiet too. Nit hard to install, just read the manual and instructions first. Oh , and out the was ring on the toilet first, set the toilet, secure it to the floor, add the tank.
