My old cutting boards were several years old and one of them had started to crack. With the Thanksgiving Black Friday sales going on, I decided to take advantage of the sale and purchased two of the Tramontina teak cutting boards. ONE of the TWO that arrived was cracked in two and appeared to have been damaged during shipping. The damage was not the responsibility of Tramontina or Wayfair. Please see picture of damaged box. Wayfair's customer service was easy to work with and made it easy to get a refund. The second cutting arrived undamaged. I have two critiques. First, the cutting board is not perfectly flat and unleveled by about 1.5 millimeters (approximately 1/18 of an inch). The second critique I have for this cutting board is that the grooves on the edges of the cutting board were not finished and smooth. I am still giving this item 5 stars. This is a very large and beautiful cutting board that I think most people will like and therefore recommend.
