Delivery was fast! We are building the trundle into the wall underneath soon-to-be shelving. The height is exactly 8 inches from the slats to the top of the wood.I wish it was higher so the “lip” goes above the mattress but with a recommended up to 8” mattress, it’s more flush. Got 2 of these trundles to tuck under a king size bed frame to increase sleeping capacity at my lake house. They fitwork great! Be sure to choose a low profile (thin) mattress to allow clearance under the bed frame. Also, be sure the king size bed frame does not have extra support feet at the middle of the 2 sides.. Kris.
