I want to love this as it seems very sturdy. It is thick plastic and even the screws are plastic, so there won’t be any rust. The doors are glass and I love that they lock. The only issue I had is my 10lb cat laid on the top of it and pushed the grate down. It was not sturdy. We pushed it back in the groove and used a staple gun to reinforce the edges. It seems to not have any give with it anymore. I think more reinforcement to the underside of the grate is definitely needed. I took a picture of it pushed in and after we stapled it back up. .
