When you flip over the comforter, it is lined with the same pattern design as the bed skirt. The bed skirt is three separate pieces, which makes it much easier to attach to the bed. All those extra pillows are different patterns, materials and sizes. Think lifestyles for the rich and famous and this set would be featured. I love it and so does my husband. If, however, you don't care for heavier material, this set is not for you. Also, the paisley printed material is a bit scratchy. I overlook those details because of the overall beauty of the bedding. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this comforter set to refresh our master bedroom. The rich colors complement the décor in this room well. This 4-piece set appears majestic and conveys the elegance one may find in a high-end establishment. The chenille damask jacquard is composed of shimmery gold, red/burgundy and brown tones which add to the luxurious sensation of this set. The golden bed skirt has kick box pleats which further adds to the royal feel of this set as well as the thick, gold roping surrounding this thick comforter. The coordinating, flanged shams also have this roping to complete the appearance and consist of a hidden zipper closure which further depicts how sophisticated this set is. Aside from its aesthetic qualities, it fits our 1-foot-thick queen mattress very well and is comfortable and warm. My wife said the only thing that this set is missing are decorative pillows to add more character to our dressed bed. I absolutely adore this bed set it is not only gorgeous but it is a very good quality if you are looking for elegance this is the duvet you definitely want to consider. Acouple of cons are the beadwork and the tassels the beadwork on the ivory pillow with the silver looking teardrop beads do come off fairly easy they are very delicate and not sewn on very tightly so you may have to replace a few here and there no this can be a nuisance and not sure it’s even worth re-sewing every single bead because it is a lot of work perhaps they would exchange it for me I do not know I’m crossing my fingers that they will the tassels are attached on every other space and so it is not that noticeable but it is annoying when you know you’ve paid so much for something and it is not up to standard or what you expected ...however can be replaced but not to factory standard I will show you with the pictures exactly what I am talking about the beadwork on the gold pillow with multiple glass beads is absolutely gorgeous and sparkly all of it is just gorgeous enjoy the pictures. I have Not contacted Wayfair due to these issues because I purchased this ahead of time when we purchased our home I saved everything and did not open it up until about a month ago so I’m not sure how the warrantee would work or if the sleeper even be covered and replaced but I will definitely try because it is a Pricey bed set.
