We are upgrading our 3 year old from her crib to a bed finally and this is an excellent choice. I love the design so she is proximal to the ground but still has “sides” to it so it isn’t super different from her crib to start. It is good quality and as expected to assemble. Great piece of furniture! I was impressed that this item is actual solid and pure wood, sometimes you never know what you will get. It would be easy to paint or stain if desired. The number of pieces to put together was intimidating at first, but it went together a bit faster than the 1 hour stated time frame. I love the pure look and the fact that it is low to the ground. Hoping for an easy transition for my toddler!! Warning!!! One of the hardware bolts could pose a choking hazard if it were to come lose. There are 8 such pieces in total. They seem to be well locked in place, but I will definitely keep an eye out to see if anything shakes lose over time.
