This bed is beautiful. The scale of the bed is very nice. I am using a thick mattress with standard size box springs and there is still plenty of headboard space for pillows. This bed is adorable and easy to put together! I would give it 5 stars except it has HORRIBLE warning stickers on the head and foot rails that are not shown in the pictures. They are huge stickers that completely ruin the look of the bed, and are extremely difficult to remove. It took at least 2 hours with goo gone and a plastic paint scraper to remove them. Luckily, removing them did not damage the bed. The stickers don't peel off - you really have to scrape the whole thing off in little bits and it takes forever.. Kristin. Perfect for a child’s first big girl bed. Pretty low to the ground, but can be elevated with the right mattress/box spring which is required. A solid white, not off white or antique, or even bright white…just a nice basic white. Feels pretty sturdy for the price. Took my husband about 30 mins to set up including unpacking. No weird smell or scratches, but con is on the head spindles, they didn’t weld all the way around and it leaves gaps which is very noticeable. It really annoys me and I try not to look at it.
