This bed works perfect for my son. I will say that it was quite difficult to put together though. Many of the screws did not line up great, making it a frustrating build. Set aside 5 hours to build this thing. Even using power tools it took me quite some time to build. Not a fan of the drawers attaching with just a hole. I have not been able to get the bluetooth to show up on any phone to pair. My son really wants to use the app to control the LED light strip. Maybe it's defective? Edit/Update for anyone else having this issue: The instructions tell you to pair with a bluetooth "Triones" and to install happy lighting. Even provides the qr code in the book to install this app. It seems that this vendor maybe changed their light strips to a different brand. The bed went together fairly easily, even with one person! For a few of the steps, I had it leaning on the wall with a blanket for extra protection, but the pieces went together smoothly with little extra effort. The most time consuming part was simply attaching the bed slats, which was quick with a drill. It was fairly easy to assemble. We did end up with one screw that had too much powder coatingpaint so it wouldn’t allow you to screw the sides of the headboard in. They did not provide an extra screw to be able to swap out. Took a little effort but we were able to make it work. They provide you with 2 corner protectors but the adhesive sticks better to the red peel-off cover than to the part itself or the bed. MATTRESS we have a 13” thick mattress. If you have a mattress 11” or less it will slide right under the headboard. STABILITY a little iffy. Probably okay for a child but a teen or adult seems like they need to carefully sit down. I really like this solid wood bed frame. It looks beautiful and feels sturdy and well made. The wood color is warm and matches my room perfectly. The bed frame is stable and does not make much noise when moving. The wooden slats provide good support for the mattress. Very disappointing, the bed I received does NOT have the same detail as the photos on the website. The vertical rungs on the head and footboard are smooth round pipe not the more sculpted detailed ones on the website. I might have picked another bed with more detail had I known.
