Unique Ceiling Fans

This ceiling fan delivers cottage-inspired, traditional style to your home. It's made with a finished frame and wood blades, and it includes a light kit, down rod, shade, and blades. This ceiling fan features a hanging propeller design with a caged body made with colorful stained glass with a pointed finial for a vintage-inspired look. We love that this ceiling fan features pull-chain operation but also includes a remote control as well as adapts to wall controls. It's compatible with a dimmer switch for customized lighting, and the blades are reversible to change the spinning direction.

This stained glass fan has to be one of my favorite purchases from Wayfair. It’s beautiful, timeless, and classy, it makes me feel like I’m living an old Florida dream in the early 1900s. It is the perfect fit for my Florida Room Guest Suite. I will share that the light it gives is minimal. The space I am using it in is a naturally bright room because of the wall of windows I have. For me it is perfect and sets the right vibe. I would suggest an additional lamp or two if you like a well lit room. Package was not damaged and everything inside was in good condition. I would suggest two people for mounting and read directions well for a successful installation of this fan. The lightbulbs in the top portion of the fan will be difficult to change when the time comes, this may be my only con in regard to this fan. Included with the fan is a remote for ease of use. You can also turn on two sets of lights with the pull strings attached to the fan, one lights up just the top portion and the other lights up the main light globe on the bottom portion. The prettiest fan EVER...BUUUUT!!! It stop working in 7 months. The light won't go out. Called an Electrician and he said the unit had to be replaced. We have a "Florida basement" storage room in our modern organic coastal home that needed a light. This was perfect, nice (not cheap) quality and a little fun. When lit, the warm brown weave creates a neat little pattern across the ceiling. As some have mentioned, you will need to be directly under the fan to feel it but it does move air surprisingly well. This is perfect for us because I sometimes hang wet clothes on a drying rack or do some ironing in the center of the room. The fan arrived well packaged. The instructions were not great and took some time to figure out the wire diagram. It is a great fan. The item arrived well packaged and installation was relatively easy. The very last part of install was the light and there were two male connections instead of a male female, but just cut the end off and hardwired it not a big deal. No electrician available to install so I had to have my daughter hold it up and then remover her from the photo, and it is HEAVY so she did great for a 14 year old. I loooove this fan. The wood blades are so beautiful. The wood tone matches my beams pretty well which was a nice surprise. The fan is well crafted and I'm so pleased that it has a light. The light portion and the fan blades were very easy to install. The instructions are clear and it comes with extra hardware which is always so helpful. My favorite things about it are the fact that the wood grain sort of lines up on the fan blades and the hardware is really nice even though it's not showing. The good Overall, it’s a great looking piece and the fan works surprisingly very well! When not in use the fan blades are barely visible and tuck away. kind of like a beetle’s wings would cling close to its body and then when the fan turns on the wings come out and circulate air really well. My son‘s room gets cold with it on despite the Texas summer! The bad - The manufacturers instructions are absolutely horrible and you cannot find assistance on their website. - I was also disappointed that the remote does not allow me to dim the lightbulbs even though they are dimmable bulbs. - You have to use the remote and your existing switches need to remain in the “on” position, but otherwise are functionally obsolete - One of the glass globes did not have the threaded piece attached so it could not be put on. The other globe had the threads attached, but it was in a damaged way so that the threads did not screw on all the way and the globe broke off. The threads are now stuck and will not come off. Unfortunately, all of the globes and arms are tied together and meet in the center so there is no way to remove only one of the arms and replace it. Therefore, I will need to replace the bottom portion which includes all of the light fixture component as well as need two globes with the threaded pieces intact.
