This works well for my full-sized platform bed (no box springs). Some quilts are much too wide for a double bed. Perfect for summer, and good for winter with a blanket underneath or on top. The colors are muteddistressed. Another reviewer said the grey is more like a denim, and I agree with this. It’s a medium charcoal with a hint of denim. It would not go well with black accessories because of that. It should work well with charcoal accents however. The light color is almost a burlap color, just not as dark and will work with burlap or cream accessories or linens. This will be perfect our cat-friendly home as I think it will hide any staining that doesn’t come out. The shams just fit my very fluffy standard pillows. Definitely a good look for a good price..
