Grand scale combines with a silvery jewelry-like finish on a textured surface to create a striking focal point with the Big Bang 78-inch Entertainment Console. This iconic piece is crafted of Mango Solids with German Silver Foil and features 4 doors, with one removable wood shelf behind the center pair of doors and one removable wood shelf behind each of the left and right outside doors. There’s a ventilated back panel in each section. Our TV consoles accommodate media components without disrupting functionality in an elegant mix of materials.

Wow! I love this piece! I do have to say first, before anything else, that the color is absolutely silver. The pictures lead you to believe it is a combination of light gold/silver, and it isn't. Sometimes, the way the lighting or the reflection of lighting off of nearby rugs and/or furniture hits it will slightly alter the perceived tone or hue of the silver, though. But we shall see how the silver naturally ages/patinas over time. It's very heavy (198lbs!) and feels structurally sound, and at 32.5" tall I don't worry at all about it tipping even with our 65" TV on top (although they do provide anti-tipping straps/devices.) I was able to wrangle it out of the box and high quality packaging by myself within 30 minutes, although it would've been easier with two people. I'm pleased with the quality, and even though they didn't use solid wood throughout, it feels like a well-made piece. It did have a musty chemical odor at first, but I used a mostly dry cloth to wipe it down on the inside and out and after a few days the smell has dissipated. I really appreciate the cord management slots/vent holes in the back and I have had no issue thus far with my wifi router or PS4 & wireless controllers working while the doors are closed, even with the silver metal exterior. It honestly looks so great and my expectations have definitely been met, even for the price point. Originally, I really wanted to buy the Bernhardt Interiors Carleton Console, but at its retail price of ~$3500 I had to draw a hard line. And I'm so glad I did because I am perfectly happy with the Big Bang TV stand, and also saving a huge chunk of money! I snapped a few photos to show you how it looks in reality (pardon my messy organization, I haven't finished!). Nate. CA. 2022-01-12 15:23:08
